Fed: give Collins access to all documents - ADA

The Australian Defence Association has called for the public release of all documents
relating to claims by Army whistleblower Lieutenant Colonel LANCE COLLINS.

Colonel COLLINS has complained that his career stalled after he criticised the Defence
Intelligence Organisation for ignoring his warnings on East Timor.

He wrote to Prime Minister JOHN HOWARD last month calling for a royal commission into
Australia's intelligence agencies.

Australian Defence Association spokesman NEIL JAMES has told Channel Nine that all
documents and evidence relating to Colonel COLLINS should be made public.

He says Colonel COLLINS has been treated disgracefully and he's entitled to see everything
that's been written about him.

Mr JAMES says that even Defence chief General PETER COSGROVE has admitted that Colonel
COLLINS hasn't been treated well.
