Fed: Angry "Easter Bunny" protests over bank job cuts
Around 60 Finance Sector Union members dressed as Easter bunnies are handing out 40,000
Easter eggs at major bank branches in capital cities around Australia.
The union says the campaign's focused on the four major banks and each egg represents
a job lost in the banking industry over the past decade.
National secretary TONY BECK says the approach of bank management in the past decade
has been a gigantic con and more job losses are expected.
And he says banks had enacted a campaign to create disharmony within branches by actively
reducing customer service levels.
The union is also calling for a 7.5 per cent pay rise.
